Gun safe dehumidifier

I'm looking for opinions on gun safe rust protection. Does anyone use a Goldenrod or Dri Rod dehumidifier? What are your thoughts on the electric models vs dessicant?

Have had a Goldenrod in my safe since the early '80s; no drama, no corrosion problems and humidity is high along Gulf coast.

Thank you. I was given a Dri Rod and wasn't sure if I wanted to use it or not. I think I will.
