I have mine in the garage and have had no problems at all. I use the Rust Inhibitor, the big one, and no rust at al.

I really like the Browning safes. If there is a Sportsman's Warehouse near you, they carry "Yukon Gold" brand safes. These are made by Browning with the same fire resistant materials, but are marked at a lower price!
