gun stocks

I have a Choate ultimate sniper stock on a 700 and I think it is possibly the worst stock ever made. I let somebody talk me into it because it was cheap and have regretted it ever since. It weighs a ton but is still real flimsy. The bottom of the forearm is not flat front to rear so it will not ride the bags at all for bench shooting.
Some people like them but I can't see how anybody could like such an inferior product.

I can't like them one bit. Have tried severalof other peoples at the range. Just feel weird to me, and like you say, heavy yet flimsy at the same time.......

It is nothing to drop a stock into something that is already inletted well. MCMillan, H-S, Medalist, all easy. You could not give me a Boyd's for free. I still have all of mine bedded though, as there is still at least some play in the recoil lug area, and maybe others....
