Why do so many people think that guns are "toys", or for "showing off with" in front of their friends?
My personal opinion...if a person doesn't know how to safely & correctly operate a weapon, then they should keep their hands off of it...until such time as they have completed a detailed & lengthy class on firearm safety, & usage.
And, adults who have firearms, should keep them locked away when not in use. Especially if children are around.
The following link is the reason for my rant.
I have no problem with a parent teaching gun safety to their kids (who are old enough to comprehend what is going on)....as long as the adult remains in TOTAL control of the situation.
