Years ago, we use to party alot. Alot of years ago!! Someone would tell a story and pass it to the next person, to the next, to the next. Buy the time it got to the last person, it was totally different. Kinda like this post headed. I never bashed the company in my OP, just said I thought that was alot of money for a rifle and a custom could be built for alot less. I'm sure Gunwerks is a top notch company and sells an outstanding product. Talking to my buddy again, he is getting the NF optics and all the other "Bells and Whistles" that come with the rifle that is used with this rifle, including break-in,load development and ammo. Nice! I live on a budget, a tight azz budget and these are out of my reach by a long ways. Anyway, this post was to never "Bash" Gunwerks, just to say their rifles were expensive and I thought a similar quality rifle could be built for less money. I'd love to have a Corvette but can't afford one of those either. Please don't let this turn into a bashing post. If I had the money I'd probably buy one and a Corvette. Heck, maybe two. Thanks Folks for letting me eat a little more crow. Tastes alot like chicken!!

I hear ya, and understand, your points taken, just because it's out of our price range doesn't mean there is something wrong with the product, and I know you understand that, but a lot people don't... sometimes I have to eat my hanging coyotes when we run out of beef in the winter time...
