H-K Customer service-not!

I am irked at H-K. I own an H-K by Fabarms Classic Lion sxs shotgun.

One of the ejectors stopped working so I called HK for warranty repair. I was told they do not warranty that shotgun anymore. I told them that can't be right, because, I am reading the Warranty Booklet that HK will warranty this gun for life. I was told they won't honor the warranty.

A long story short, I went up the chain to a supervisor and was told the same thing. The best they could/would do for me is let me speak with a repair guy and he walked me through the repair.

They never did answer my "what about your written warranty for life" question.

By the way, I am trading this gun in tonight.

H-K is well known for having terrible customer service. Great guns, great quality and a great reputation...until you have to deal with them.

The HK has been traded.

I now own a nice little Beretta 20ga sxs. Taking it out Saturday for a pheasant hunt.

Great quality and a great reputation?? He got a broken shotgun and a lifetime warranty that not worth squat and they won't fix it.

H+K has never impressed me, they have a reputation for hanging owners out to dry when that "great warranty" is about to be used.
