Hand call Opinions

What do ya'll think of the commercial hand calls. I am a duck call junkie and have figured out that the customs sound better. Most of the pedator calls on the store shelves are made by the goose turkey duck deer crowd. What are the prefered hand calls, store bought or custom. What is on your lanyard.
 
I have many calls from several of the builders on here. I like to carry Kerry's rubber calls because they don't clank. And they sound great of course.

I have a dozen, plus an electronic, and I always go back to my Sceery AP6. Not sure if you call it a closed reed or split reed, but it's very versatile, and brings them running.

I have not tried any custom calls, but I am interested in doing so. Any of you custom makers produce one of this design?
 
My Banner add is do cant see paying it if i'm no longer going to sell Horn Howlers here. There is another callmaker. saying smack about Water buffalo and my Howlers aren't custom. Really makes me sick to my stomache about it. So going to think this week wether I want to go on selling calls here. So every one have a great Christmas.This is why I don't post any more. Rick
 
Killed lots of deer with sceery grunt tube. The calls that I see here are primos,gardner,and sure shot.

I know that Buck Gardner and Cowboy Hernandez were world champion duck callers but what does that have to do with predators.
