Now just found out taurus is coming out with a new 44 magnum hunter. I will get that one. Will let everyone know how it handles once they are available.
I do like my Ruger Blackhawk and my Ruger 44 carbine.
They both help keep the deer population down.
I just got a new rail for my carbine. Maybe a red dot?
I saw this year Ruger has a new carbine in 9mm.
Great for hunting tin cans. A 10/22 can do that.

On your Ruger BlackHawk... does that Hogue grip prevent the trigger guard from smacking the knuckle of your middle finger? The other day saw one of those beauties in the Local Gun Shop, but the back of that flat trigger guard looked awfully dang close to my middle finger already. So I decided against it.

Yes, it saves my finger. It still let me do a good two hand grip.
Any of the revolvers you mentioned will be fine, if you reload you can load down a bit as deer are not hard to kill. I have killed deer, caribou and a brown bear all with cast billets over 20 grains of 2400. Just remember if you get run over by a bus it doesn’t matter how fast it is going.
