I am wondering if anyone has or used a nikko stirling scope? I am going pdoging in a couple of weeks and I am tight on money for a good quality scope. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Nikko Stirling Nighteater 6x24x44. That is what is on my 700 in my avitar pic. It took a little getting used to as far as eye relief goes but I have had it for a year or so and it is just fine. No problems. I have a female friend that likes to shoot and within 5 shots, I had her blasting small Gatorade bottles @ 300yds. As far as filtered light or dusk and dawn shooting, no problems. Clear and bright. If I were to buy one again, I would go with less magnification. Hope this helps.

could look at the new Redfield scopes. They have one I think that would be good for P-dogging in that price range. They are now owned by Leupold. I haven't heard anything bad about them, and heard a couple real good reviews.

i would look into Mueller also, not that bad of scope for the money. i own two eradicators 8.5x25 and the glass is pretty clear. they sell for around $225.00 at swfa

Go with this Millett from Natchez. I got one for my .204 and you can't beat it for the money $190. Millett Just know that this is a big scope. The picture is wrong on their site. It should look like this.

Was going to recommend the same, I Have the 3x9 with the accu-range reticle and have no complaints with it. Very nice scope for the scratch.
