Hayfield dogs

We hunted 3 properties that had fresh cut hay last night.

Called up 3 on the first stand at around the 25 minute mark. Didn’t see anything on the other two.

Each of us was able to make a good shot on their dog.

Nice job gentlemen.. dont always work out getting 3 people to shoot at the same time let along having all 3 dogs stop at the same time to make good shots
The third one ran over a rise and into some tall grass……the other two kept coming……Ken and I shot those two at the same time on a count down at around 160 yards.

I played pup squeals for a couple of minutes and switched to poundtown and the third one came out.

Cason the heavy set young guy in the picture shot it at 310 yards.

I guess the way l wrote the post did sound like we all shot at the same time.

The three ranches I hunted used a roller chopper behind a Cat to knock down brush. The Cat driver shot lots of coyotes from the cab regularly.
