Hearing enhancement/protection ??

I dont think i can go that route . Most of my hunting is in cold weather and usaly need to cover up my ears, and i dont know if that would muffel the sound i could hear.

I am curious as to if the game ear is top of the line or is there some other brands out there that anyone has any good luck with and have any input on?

For muffs I've tried a few different Peltors and one Sordin Supreme Pro. The Peltor Comtac is made to military specifications and the sturdiest of them. The Sordin Supreme Pro has the best quality sound. I do not know if they are marketed in the states, both are Swedish makes. Both are good buys, I think.
