Help! AR-15 Hogue grip battery storage?

Well I have looked every place I can think of and came up empty handed. So, I figured that someone on here has to know.

I'm looking for a way to store two AA batteries in the Hogue pistol grip that comes on the RRA AR-15. My Tactical Team has 20 AR-15s, with Hogue pistol grips, with the EOTech sights that take two AA batteries. On more than one call-up, we have had sight batteries go dead. We want an easy way to always have two AA batteries on hand. I have found a plug that works for the standard AR-15 grip, but not the Hogue.

Any suggestions?

Is it the same as the "ergo grip"?
All mine came with the plug.
ETA; The ergo grip is made by falcon industries.
They look alot alike, I wonder if the plug would fit the houge grip.
If not you could look at buying a new grip ($20)

If you would consider a new grip a Magpul MIAD has a innercore that you can customize for batteries, 3 rounds or bolt and firing pin.

The grip link
The insert link

I got mine from DTech and it is sweet.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm sure that I have seen exactly what I'm looking for somewhere, I just can't seem to find it now.
