Help me choose a tripod!

Hey guys, long time no post but I’ve still been lurking. I’m looking to purchase a tripod, but I’m stuck on which direction to go. I’m thinking what I would really like is the Nightstalker with P.I.G. Saddle but I can’t handle waiting 4-6 weeks!! Next option was the Predator Tactics deadeye but at 250 it’s getting out of my comfort range price wise to add the saddle in to that purchase. Last option was Zomei carbon fiber 818, which I could add the saddle to and be priced pretty similar to the Nightstalker. BUT, would I be as pleased with the cheaper setup? Also, something else to consider was which type of leg lock is best? IMO lever locks would be quickest and handiest but will they lock as tight as a twist lock? Would the lever wear and become loose over time? Sorry for the rambling but so many things to consider.
 
I normally hunt with an AR but I want the saddle for being able to switch a gun without a rail. We occasionally hunt some public ground and only Rimfires or shottys allowed there.
 
I have a Slik tripod with levers and a Desmond with the twist locks. I prefer the twist locks to the levers. The levers seem to get noisy and stiff when it gets cold.
I'm sure it's personal preference like most everything else.

I use the Slik Tripod with a level head and the Reaper Grip mount.
Works for me... I've gone thru 3 cheap ones prior and love my current set up.I run an AR in 243 WSSM with the Pulsar N 960 NV scope and an external IR...

Understand the wait the Night Stalkers, but the wait is really worth it. We went through large numbers of these at Christmas time. The wait will be under the 6 weeks, we just list worst case scenerios.

I went ahead and picked up one of the amazon specials so we’ll see how that works out, will be here tomorrow so hopefully I can try it out soon and let you guys know how it goes.

Victor, of course I would’ve loved to support one of the PM sponsors but you can’t blame a guy for not wanting to wait. Hopefully you guys start getting a steady supply to keep up with demand.

Of course not Brother, we had a steady supply right before Christmas and then we got hit hard with some pretty substantial orders that suprised us all for the holidays that cleaned us out!
