Help me pick a caliber

With simular goals i went 6arc, match chamber. My buddy has a ruger predator, I had to add a ruger patrol, and they flat out drive tacks. 16" pipe on the patrol, 60gr sierras @ 3270, or 88gr bergers at 2785. Hopefully soon I'll have a 26" heavy palma howa done to compare it too.

6arc is just a hornady spin on a 6ppc... no speed demon, but it sure holds some accuracy records.

I’ve had or have 6br, 6bra, 6xc, 6 creed and 243. The br and bra are amazing for there accuracy and easy of loading. With mdt mags I’ve never had an issue with a br or bra. In the 6’s or 22’s

Here is a few yotes with the 22 bra and a 1 10 shot and 2 5 shot groups with the 6 bra

From the lens of ordering a barrel blank, a reamer, and then getting the blank fit and chambered, seven months doesn't sound too bad. But, from the lens of buying a prefit, seven months and not having it in time for this season does sound like a bummer.

You going to wait for it, or make a different selection?

I'm checking with Crown Ridge, they might be quicker. However, I never heard of them until today. I like doing business with NSS, but I'm not very patient 😕
Also, now I'm leaning toward 6BRA

Anything on the BR case is gold.

Side track, but not really. When I had my most recent new barrel chambered in .22 Dasher I had heard a lot about Alpha Dasher brass. So I tried it. But I also made up some cases on Lapua BR brass. After a decent amount of testing, I like the old Lapua BR brass better. It has more capacity. Which I can squeeze more velocity out of. Destructive testing showed zero advantage for the Alpha primer pockets which I had heard and read were much tougher and capable of higher pressures and velocity. Absolutely not so in my barrel.
