help needed with bino's

Well i'll toss my .02 cents in and say no but it's really hard for the price and the best warranty in the industry not to check out Vortex optics. Vortex's optics are as good as any costing 2-3X's as much and they are made in the USA and come with a unbeatable warranty, [beeep] even if you run them over 50 years from now your covered!

+1 My Buddy has a pair and there pretty nice, but the warranty is better.

I just recieved my Alpen Teton 10x42 binos are they are very bery nice. From edge to edge, its very crisp w/the picture and contrast. Its like looking at objects in 3D. The color detail is very sharp. It brings the light in as well, which is a plus if your hunting early morning or late evening. The focus wheels are super-smooth. And I love the attached lens cover, you will never loose them. I can honestly say, I like the Alpens Tetons better than my Steiners and Leupolds.

Sheesh, The more the merrier on binos. Anyway does anybody else out there have a comment on the Alpen line of binos would greatly be appreciated. Ty

Independent tests, in the past, have always rated your Alpen Tetons a "Very good buy" for the money. Never used them myself ..........

Depending on high end or low end Vortex binos they are made in China, or the Philippines. The Vortex binos are a great deal, and their warranty is hard to beat. Their new 10x36 monoculars are pretty slick as well!

I have a pair of the apex 10x42 never have had an issue can't tell the difference between them and some friends higher priced ones. I started with the shasta ridges had a lenses go bad sent in about a week and a half later they were back fixed no charge. By the way they were like 7 years old when that happened for the price I think they are hard to beat.
