help needed with terriers

I have a JRT that is an awesome decoy dog. I have shot probably 150-200 coyotes with him. People alwasy tell me he's to small and is gonna get killed. Well he's 10yrs old and he hasn't yet! I dont use him later in the spring when the yotes start getting real aggressive, but I can use him in the fall and even the pups aren't scared of him. It's quite a sight to watch.

Roadrunner, what you need your Jack Russell to do?

Do you want it to kill coyotes or decoy them ?

If you need it to kill coyotes without a problem time and again you'll have a problem there unless it's a Jack Russell x .

I use Wire Haired long legged Jack Russell's daily with my hound teams they do the underground work when a Jackal or Lynx goes under.

They have no problem sorting out a big male lynx or jackal. There are normally a least 2 Jackie's in the teams.

I fear your coyotes are going to be to large for a Jack Russell to handle comfortably.

Two well bred English Fox Terriers will kill a coyote if they come from the correct strain.

Let me know if can be of any more help.
