Help picking a handgun. (woods carry)

Here is what I need. Lightest/Lowest kick/highest accuracy possible while also being very reliable and big enough to slow/stop/scare a wounded bear.

Unsure what would handle swamp/snow/rain/mud/whatever and still have a chance of actually firing. Figured a revolver would be best but because no one in my family owns or uses handguns I really don't know.

Never heard of this tracker stuff. Looked on the DNR website and 2016 hunting and trapping digest, nothing in ether except licensed DOG tracker????

First choice would be a 1911 in 10mm. If you don't like the price of a Kimber, get a RIA. I have a Kimber and love it and my next, for carry and getting beat up, will be a RIA.

Next choice, a S&W revolver. I have a 329 and am a big fan. Yes full bore loads can hurt but you don't shoot them much and if you are shooting them in defense of yourself you won't care. I can shoot full bore 240gr loads fine, just not multiple cylinders of them for fun. Nice thing is the gun is so light you don't even notice you have it.

I also have a 41Mag Tauris 629 TI they don't make anymore. All the advantages of the 329 it a bit more compact package, except it is ported, so the only time I would fire it without hearing protection is if I am about to get mauled.

I can't argue against a good revolver but I don't like them. Sold my Ruger Super Redhawk and built a 460 Rowland with a S&W 1911 E series. Couldn't ask for more, couldn't be happier, might as well get my name inlayed with gold on this gun. Love it.

I got a railed 1911 for a light. I got the Streamlight tlr 1 HL, they are up to 800 lumens now, in the dark of night I would likely blind half the people into changing their mind before having to shoot them, but I got this for the woods and the light really lights things up and would have to discombobulate a bear somewhat if you ran into one at night.

Drop leg holster so the gun is never under my jacket or guille suit. Very quick draw.

I enjoy glocks almost as little as I enjoy large revolvers but opinions aside it would be a great option in 460 Rowland.
