Help pricing an AR for sale

I have a Bushmaster AR that I am ready to sale. I really don't know much about them so I need help putting a price on one to sale. I bought this from a friend who just needed some cash around 1.5 years ago and just don't need it at all. It is a Bushmaster XM15-E2S model. It has a barska scope, sling, bi-pod, stainless bull barrel, and counter weights in the stock for "balance" (this thing weighs a ton). I've only shot it a less than 10 times. It is in good condition. Help me out with what a fair asking price should be.

I don't know how much it would go for, but I'd look at the classified adds and see about a similar rifle's price. Or list it at the price you want for it and tell people to make an offer in a PM if the don't like the price.

The lower is obviously a bushy, but I don't think Bushmaster put out an actual bull barrel like that. They have "heavy" barrels, more along the lines of a match barrel. FWIW.

You can pick up a new complete Bushmaster lower for $350-$400 on gunbroker. A complete SS bull barreled upper can run from $500 up.

Gunbroker is your friend when wanting to find out what firearms are actually selling for.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I know barskas are cheap, but do you think taking it off would actually help it sell lol?

If that is a 24" ss match grade upper those can sell for $600- $800.00 alone.

In any case that is a good looking rifle and you should have no troubles at all selling it quickly.

And Barska is absolute garbage in my opinion but should make no difference in selling it.Who ever gets it will more then likely put an actual quality optic on it, that rifle deserves it.
