Haha its all good men. The serial number still blows my mind though. Bought new in 1990 not made until 93 or 94. Somebody has some explaining to do, lol.

Very true. Idk its really not a huge issue, but......... I would like to figure it out in time, nothing pressing, just curosity.

Dang good looking revolver. My 4 5/8" SBH has the round trigger guard.

Me thinks this to appease the Flat-top fans before they made a reissue of sorts.
I like the Dragoon trigger guard and larger frame, can't stand Bisley frames. I get down low on the backstrap though.
Probably not the ideal hand position for heavy loads, but up to 255 gr max+ loads it's usable.
Don't want the gun to roll in the hand. I thumb the hammer lefty so can shoot two or three shots with no change in grip.

Add: Old Model Flattop .44 mags suck, don't care what the gun writers say.
