I know, I know...the mouth on this call is too big to be linear and well proportioned. So?? What woman you know whose mouth isn't too big
All kidding aside, I know it should have been smaller, but this piece of Copal Amber was just too pretty and too expensive to turn it away. I kept looking at it and looking at it, and decided to leave it too big, man it is some pretty stuff. It is colorful and translucent...in the clearer areas you can almost see through it lengthways.
At any rate, I spent waaaay too much time on this call...all day in fact.
The Copal Amber mouth is tennon fitted, seamlessly, to the Water Buffalo body. It has a bit a lathe work about the lanyard groove.
These images show all sides of the call, as well as the turned bell...the quality of the pics isn't all that great, I apologize for that. There are some bad reflections and dust here and there on the body of the call. It is highly polished, and shines like a diamond in a goats behind.
Thanks for your time!!
