Hevi Shot Dead Coyote T shot

I have used them, have four left from a box of ten. I know I had to drop back from turkey choke to factory full to get a good pattern in one gun, and I think Mod in another. I seemed to need a followup sometimes. The Win BB loads pattern the best for me. I mostly carried my drilling this year instead of the shotguns, so didn't use any. If they pattern good for you the larger shot would be better I think.

Works well....
Some batches was to brittle and pellets would fragment on impact. Did have some kills out to 70 yards with it . I normally buy all I can if it's under $4 per round, which is hard to do these days.

If you can find any of the Federal Heavyweight Coyote BB 3" 1-1/2 oz loads buy them instead of the Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote T shot loads. The Federal Coyote Heavyweight BB loads are no longer being made.

The Federal Heavyweight 15g/cc BB loads have 62 pellets per shell and the Hevi-Shot dead Coyote 12g/cc T shot loads have 50 pellets per shell. The FHW 15g/cc BB pellets out penetrate the Hevi-Shot DC 12g/cc T shot pellets. Hevi-Shot is advertised as 10% denser than lead, Federal Heavyweight shot was advertised as 35% denser than lead

I don't think Federal realized how good their Heavyweight 15g/cc shot really was. They could have used size #1 shot or #2 shot with Heavyweight shot for coyotes and Heavyweight #2 shot was not needed for shooting big geese. I have used the Federal Heavyweight #4 and #5 shot on geese and #7 shot on big ducks and it works great.
