Just about finished putting my model 10 into an accu-stock I got a couple weeks ago. Found out last night (duh) that the standard recoil lug will not work with the accu-rail. Midway has them on backorder until feb, and my gunsmith is out of town for 2 weeks, so ordering from Savage is out of the question (I really wanted to have this rifle together for a trip at the end of the month) Haven't contacted [beeep] or Jim B at Northland yet, figured I'd ask you guys and see if you knew what options I have. Kinda had that feeling earlier in the year when I inquired about getting a stock inletted as they advertise on their website, got a few pi$$ poor emails back from "Lisa" basically telling me nothing,..and she always had to check with Fred and get back with me,...last response I got back from them on that subject was Dec 12th,..guess I didn't make the favorite list.

Yep,..licensed gunsmith or FFL..they prefer the business carries both, but an FFL is fine if you whine a little. Anything shy of the stocks and magazines carry this restriction from them,...bolt bodies, barrels, trigger groups,..you name it man.
