Hi-Point 9mm Carbine Rifle??

I'm new to coyote hunting and don't want to buy a new gun right now. I have a Hi-Point 9mm Carbine Rifle that is very accurate in my experience shooting at the range. Should I take this into the woods with me?

Thanks... I think I just figured out my coyote gun. And reb8600- that's a good idea. The area that I plan on hunting only has about a 75 yard clear shot in any direction. I have shot a water jug at 100 yards pretty easily with it, so I wouldn't take a shot unless I could call it in to 75 yards or so. Plus, I will use my monopod when I go hunting. Thanks again

Not a big fan of the 9mm, but with XTP or Gold Dot 124gr +P ammo it should do the job under a 100m I would think.

Shot my first coyote with one, it will do the job out to 100 yds or so with 90-115 grn +P or +P+ like Rem or Magtech which it is rated for. Use expanding ammo, no FMJ, and a red dot scope on it would help. I got rid of mine, but I may buy one back because they are fun to shoot and very reliable.
