Hi folks,
If this needs deleted or moved please do so! I wasn't for sure where to post? I have done a little reading on these wild hogs that I have read about them destroying crops ect.
Anyone here live in one of those area's? If so how hard is it to find a place to hunt? I am not sure that I can even do any kind of hunting?? If I can't ride a atv to a blind or tree stand or I don't know??

I would be great full to hear from anyone that has info about this.
Thanks
Cag

I would contact the Texas Parks and Wildlife or the same department in Oklahoma maybe they can give you some ideas or names to call.

CAG, I'm not sure that I understand your last comment? Do you have physical conditions that limit you, or have I misread your post?

I have made a few trips to Texas to hunt pigs. Since I have to travel a long way and have limited time, I will pay $$ for a good place to hunt.

I am pretty crippled up due to several back surgeries so the time I can spend rolling over rough country in a 4X4 is limited. So far I have been successful in finding places that I can hunt and have killed pigs.

Go online and do some searching and you will come up with several places that can fill your needs. Take the time to do your home work.

I don't think you are going to do any good for hogs without a lot of walking in my experience...unless you have someone baiting them for you, which will cost you. The Chain Ranch in Oklahoma has some good hunts too and also look at No Mercy Hunting in Gracemont, OK. You should be able to Google either of those places. Good luck.

I,m from Texas and believe me there are a ton of hogs in Texas. If you get on line for Texas Hog hunts or call some of the feed stores in Texas they will be glad to direct you to Hog hunts with pleasure.

Its sorta funny that many states are complaining about ferel hogs are taking over and they need to be stopped. But they still charge you to hunt them!! Before the big Hog epidemic, we use to go around McAlister to a place called The Boars Nest. I'm not to sure if its still going. You could use dogs or chase them on foot with out dogs. Tons of fun!

Yeah... It is comical to hear ranchers/farmers complain abou hogs and overpopulation of deer, but wont allow or charge for people to hunt... I dont blame them for making a dollar where you can, but dont complain in the same sentence...!

Shiloh Ranch in OK is great, lots of hogs, good people, not too expensive.

Unfortunately, I don't know of any places to hunt for free.
