Hold on to your cash!! Foxpros replacements for the Firestorm and the Fury?

You can't go wrong with a Fury2. I am using a Shockwave and CS24C now but the Fury with an external speaker is one of the best set up's I have ever owned.

I see you have it in the classifieds. Did'nt like it?

The Bass Pro YouTube video about the Fusion is now private. I'm guessing that Foxpro did not intend for the promotional video to be released at this time. "Oops" on somebody.

I had the chance to use a shockwave last night, was'nt impressed. The remote doesn't feel aswell made as the TX505,the screen is real flimsy........looks like I may stay with the Fury.

I didn't unfold the speakers. The volume in my opinion was not as loud as my Fury,we actually stopped using the shockwave about halfway through the night because of that. The remote is nice but it just doesn't have that bulletproof feel to it that the other FoxPro remotes have.

Now that's an interesting take on the remotes. Most find the TX1000 to be one of the best reasons for upgrading to the higher end callers. The screen is nicer and the interface is easier to use, most report.

That's exactly what I was thinking to myself? I really like the idea of organizing sounds into their own folders. I have seen one or two complain about volume but not remote.

My buddy has a MA21 and a Shockwave. And wasn't happy with the sound of it compared to the MA21 or my CS24. He was going to sell it but decided to try it with a TAO external speaker. He's really pleased with the setup now and does a lot with the FoxFusion. I really like the remote and being able to have the sounds in categories. I don't want to pack around an extra speaker though. I'm thinking of upgrading to the CS24C, but haven't quite convinced myself yet.

I like the remote functions, but the way it's built feels cheap. The screen has some flimsy plastic over it,they should make it thicker and non glare...

Just goes to show you that people have different opinions about stuff. That is the first negative thing I have seen posted about the TX-1000 remote other than it is harder on batteries than the TX-500. Most of the people who are having battery problems are using the strongest display settings available, which will use batteries faster.

Me too. Like I stated above I think I saw two volume complaints and something about the speaker hinges? I figure the remote will be like a smart phone on batteries. The brighter and longer the display the faster they drain. Def will need rechargeable batts.

ultramag,

The remote is actually a thick walled ABS plastic housing, which is the same type of plastic used on all of our other remotes. To me, it doesn't have a cheap feel at all. Not sure where you are getting that from. As far as the remote screen cover, it is simply a protector for shipping purposes, and is intended to come off as soon as you take it out of the box.
I can certainly say that the very high majority prefers the TX1000 over all of our other remotes.
