Wondering if the hornady 223 55gr spire point or the hornady 223 55gr fmj hollow point perform better on coyote. Any input would be greatly appreciated

I have used the 55 grain spire points for almost 45 years. They are my go to bullet. Lately I have been buying them in bulk from Midsouth for about $42/500. We load bulk range ammo for the ARs and I use them in our .22-250s as predator ammo. In a 1 in 14 Ruger #1 I used the SX version for groundhogs. They are called the poor man's premium bullets.

use the spire pt extensively and can tell ya thay will do great on yote, chucks or deer. use the jhp on anthing from the neighbors pitbull on down.
