Hornady 30/30 leverevolution

Hi all, I just acquired a 30/30 recently and it came with half a box of this in the 160gr variety. Apparently, there is a shortage going on(haha...NOT!). I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction to find some or am I going to end up bear hunting with my bow this spring? Thanks much for your time.

Scroll down to the ammo listing and click on the "Purchase From Retailer" link. Will give you all the Hornady Dealers in your immediate area, clicking on the little red flag gives you Name, address, phone number, website, what they sell.


Don't suppose you reload?? Midway has/had the Leverevolution bullets available, Brownells has Leverevolution powder available. I think... Ordered a pound last night and they marked it as backordered on the first invoice I received today, then I got another saying it was in stock and being shipped.

I have 13 rounds of 30/30 sitting here I have and probably won't ever have a use for. 160gr Hornady FTX LeveRevolution.

Not a lot I know, and may be enough just to piss ya off, thought I had 2-3 other boxes but they seemed to have disappeared (was gonna sell you those!!

I truly appreciate the offer, but I think I'll be able to make a go of it. You know how it is, never like to go hunt with the bare minimum of ammo at hand. If it's pretty well sighted in I should have 6-8 rnds to bear hunt with. If I can't find any more before season I can just grab a box of whatever for just in case purposes to have along. I hunt in SW Montana, west of Butte. Not huge bear numbers but enough to keep me hunting the area.
 
No problem. Offer will stay standing.

Me and my pops plan to be in the Bitterroot range for bear this Spring.

Have any ideas on how the numbers are around that area?

How long ya been hunting bear?
 
Thanks all for the replies and offer for ammo, truly appreciated. My brother(half way across the state) was able to find 2 boxes of it...he'll bring it when he comes bear hunting. Lucked out, anywhere within 100 miles of here said they have no clue when they'll get any, but assume many months. Thanks again all.

A single shot will do it if it's treed, sometimes two to make them extra dead or to make sure they move enough after being shot to make it out of the tree.

If you're talking hunting over bait, I have no idea!
