How accurate is your powder measurers?

When I first started I used a old Lyman # ??. It was just ok even with fine granular powders. Man, you have to make sure to do everything exaclty the same. I finally just went back to my Redding balance beam.

If I were loading 1000's of 223, 45 etc. I might invest in an RCBS elctronic.

ARCorey and I have the exact same method. It must be OCD because I know that what Jack said is most likely true, that withing 2 tenths is not that big of a deal. But by trickling every round to the perfect weight with the Hornady scale I really find some confidence when it really counts. But if I am loading 100 or more rounds it gets old measuring every one so wonder about how to make it more consistant. Like I said it is OCD on my part(and maybe Corey's as well) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have loaded 1500 rounds plus and it is still pretty variable in what I get out of the dang thing sometimes.

I like to weigh all my loads so i use a RCBS electric scale. This year i bought an RCBS electric charge master scale combo and its with-in .01 of a grain and very fast and you can record youre favorite loads into it and go.. Its just as fast as a powder dispensor and more accurate over the dispensor....
 
I bought a chargemaster combo unit this spring and I LOVE IT. Would not go back to dumping light and then trickling in the last few tenths. I still have my hornady micro and electronic scale with and rcbs trickler. It lets me dump h335 or any IMR powder with accuracy and saves me time. I would reccommend it. Would not give it up.
