How do you carry your gear 'yote hunting?

I like your style rascaloso. I would rather have and not use it. Than need it and not have it. I just use a little camp backpack that my little brother use to use for school.

Rascaloso,
I dont know if your the winner.
I have one of those pack frames with back pack built on. Has a holster for your rifle,Plus;
extra shells
fx-3
remote
foxpro jack in the box
extra 9 volt for remote
extra battery pack for foxpro
4 extra c-cell batterys for jack in the box
skinning knife
parachute cord for gambrel
small sharpening stone (I skin the coyote where he drops)
4 mouth calls
shooting sticks
homemade tripod (to get fx-3 off ground)
extra gloves
face mask
outer camo shell
This my be alot for most folks but I have to walk into the property I hunt and some times its a 2 mile walk.
Really has not been a problem UNTIL last weekend we got 10 inches of snow
now the spots I hunt have light powder snow with 8+ feet snow drifts.
Yesterday I went out took 2 1/2 hours to walk in so I am having to re-think my equipment and lighten up

got everthing in the cargo pockets on my pants, strap my $9 hunting stool to my fox pro case and take off, never go more than 3/4 mile from the truck, if i do i'm huntin' big game w/ a pack.

wow impressive bunch of stuff being carried to the stand. i have my foxpro with a sling around it and my ar in my right hand also with a sling if needed, that way my pee brain cannot forgot these 2 items. keep it simple for me that way i can't screw it up

I think you need a sled! Then you could take even more.

Dstrat,
I have a nice Artic Cat for a sled only problem, I hunt public land and the state will not allow motorized vechiles.
My wife loves to hunt with me but she is disabled(spinal cord injury) on good days she can walk alittle. The State of South Dakota will not allow her to ride a sled or atv, GFP say It would not be fair for everyone else if she could ride an atv.
