How do you sling your AR?

I have dual QD’s…MLok on hand rail, other built in to stock.
Cheap slings available on eBay…better would be Anti-rotation QD’s
It slings like a normal bolt action.

when hunting i like a single point, attach to the rail, just in front of the upper receiver.

gives a nice muzzle down orientation, and its quick to hand if i need it.

Went to a gunshow this week-end. A guy had just what I needed for the push button swivels for the fore-end so I snagged one of them. I found two cups in my parts drawer and already had a sling set up from a previous rifle with the buttons already on it. I had to go to the hardware store and bought an 8/32 bolt and lock nut. I used the slot in the butt stock with the cup and screw and the new parts on the fore-end.....Bingo. Now I got a sling!!!! And it don't look cheezy either.

Magpul sling in 2 point with muzzle down in front.
it clears my DC3R and i still carry my backpack.
I tighten the sling for long walks and loosen it if i want to raise the rifle.

Two point tactical. Across the chest when a chance at a shot could present while walking, flipped over the back when long walking in/out.

as a crawling coyote hunter (sometimes) I have a snap sewed into all my slings, so I can access the gun quickly while still prone if needed.

I just ordered a Ferro Concepts Slingster for my M&P 15…will be D shaped QD swivels. I will post pics once I get it and get it setup. Looking at Agilite for my LWRC DI…meaning to try some others as well. Edgar Sherman Designs and Blue Force Gear are on the list as well. I do have a knock off Magpul ms4 that I’ve been using for a few years and like it. It converts from 1pt to 2pts with QD swivels.
