How does everyone set up to carry all their gear?

Recently bought a Hellcat Pro. I have a Foxpro landyard with my hand calls and to carry remote. Gonna get QD sling to carry the caller. Have a couple decoys to carry along as well. Best to get a backpack of some sort?

Primarily a night caller. Lanyard for hand calls. Reese Outdoors chest pack with Thermal scanner and e-caller remote clipped / tethered to it, each in their own dedicated side pouches. Rifle on tripod over my right shoulder. E-caller slung so it rests on my left side. That's pretty much it unless I'm toting in a seat which is a compact 3 leg stool with a strap that also gets slung over my shoulder. I don't have decoys to mess with.

I would guess the backpack would be the way to go for you and I would probably also carry my e-caller in or on it as well. Everyone figures out what's best for them though. Usually within the first few trips it becomes obvious what needs fixing. Necessity is the mother of invention after all! I'm sure you'll figure things out! Good luck!

we put everything in a back pack that also doubles as a tripod weight, when you have time or remember to clip it to the hook under the leveling head. the white hot spot out in the field is a dead coyote. photo credit to limbhanger10

I always hunt near the jeep, so my bino pac carries everything I need except folding chair & sticks in one hand, Foxpro and decoy in the other, rifle on sling.

Everything else is attached to the bino harness. Installed two female snaps to the harness to which I can fasten various combinations of hand calls (two of my favorite pairs {4 calls} pictured below). The call remote fits in a mesh pocket between chest and binocular pac and is tethered to the harness via a carabiner. Remote for decoy fits in another mesh pocket on side (visible on left side), and spare batteries for remotes in opposite pocket. 2 calls per strap will also attach to snaps on rifle rack in truck, as well.

Everything else is either in my pockets or carried in hand. My coyote drag is 18" of para cord w/loops tied in both ends to form a noose on each end and fits in pocket along w/range finder.

I have a back scabbard for my rifle, shooting sticks and stool attach to the scabbard, spare hand call, knife and drag go in a pocket on the scabbard and extra AA decoy batteries go in cartridge loops on back of scabbard. The caller has a carabineer to attach it to a D-ring on the front of the scabbard shoulder strap and my decoy mounts on the top of my trekking pole. I can deploy my decoy and caller without having to take off the scabbard.

Getting a duffel bag to carry stuff in.

Usually carry a Cabela’s hunting lounger, cushion, caller, lanyard.

Decoys are a new addition this year. (Coyote and rabbit.)

200 mile drive yesterday saw several road kill yotes and 2 live in the ditch after dark on the way home. Lots to call for the winter season.

I just expanded my obi system which I started when I was shooting PRS.
It’s an expensive system but it is really awesome and once you get completely fitted, you get your hands back when you need them.

I use a battle belt and have these hooks on my suspense straps and on my belt, I can walk in total comfort now w free hands.

Here, in my NY area, I need to hike in a fair distance to do a set and I really needed a solution for ruck….thought you should check it out

I have to have my stool however, I don’t walk as far as I used to, mostly use my ATV or SXS.

When in transit I have a small backpack to consolidate everything and spare stuff if/when I need it, and I don’t carry the backpack. I use an Eberlestock chest pack, with molle cell phone, xtra mag, & remote holder, etc. I sling my ecaller and my stool. My rifle stays attached to my ARCA rail and tripod, and then I shoulder my rifle with the tripod legs hanging behind me. I can’t let loose of that rifle and bear the thought of it falling on the ground!

I'm a minimalist, and can usually fit everything into my jacket pockets.

Rifle, extra ammo, water bottle, shooting sticks, foam seat cushion, binoculars, range finder and 3-4 handcalls, are usually all I take with in the field.

everytime I look at your bipod/stiks I think the same thing, I like it and should implement that, makes total sense.
So, what did you make your camo from?

Im a minimalist.
Calls & call lanyard around my neck & call sometimes cross body. Gun slung on shoulder or in 1 hand. Sticks and sometimes stool in other hand. That's it.

Not a blind, but makes a great "portable bush" to block slight movements, especially when using hand calls. I picked up a camo netting from https://allpredatorcalls.com/ years ago. It was regular net w/hemp camo woven in. Here is link to details:
