Middletown Here. Hunt Shelby, Owen, Franklin, Meade, Breckenridge and Jefferson counties. Can't wait till it cools off and the vegetation dies down so we can see a bit better.
Muhlenburg county. We have alot of old strip mines to hunt, but its public ground & makes for some smart yotes..
Gotta say though, between the strip mines & some private hunting grounds, I kill my share.
Nice to see there's quite a few here. I'm in Adair county (south-central).
Mainly hunting cow pastures. Just went and looked at a perfect looking spot I'll be hunting this weekend. I had a calf die on me a few days ago so i set it out near one of my stands. How long does it usually take one to find bait like that?
Nelson County, will be out again in a few weeks. Been chasin doves and early geese. Will blend some bow hunting and coyote calling until late fall when I will focus on preds.
Matt Antle - I hunted a carcass earlier this summer. Yotes were on it the day after it went down. I think it just depends if they are in the area or not.
Breathitt county here haven't been out since march plan to get some stands in before elk and deer season starts. Hunt yotes around stip mines, fox, cats, and coon in the woods.
I was in Vietnam with a Marine from Breathitt. His name is David Paul Brown. I would love to locate him. He was one of a kind and we served during the TET offensive together.

Hi yote yoda,
David was a cousin of mine, I didn't know him real well but I've heard some wild stories about him. He passed away awhile back in Ohio. It sure is a small world. What part of Kentucky are you in?
I am in Lexington where David and I went to high school together, played basketball, joined the Marines and headed to Vietnam together. I am sorry I ever lost touch with him. We had some tough times together during the Vietnam TET offensive in 1968. We had some really good times when we got back to the real world in the 70's. Lost touch with him in the 90's. I was sadden to hear of his death.
RIP Lance Corporal David Paul Brown. You heard the call and gave your all----You will never be forgotten.
Allen county here. Been out for the first time since the weather changed. Saw 4 does and a young one with them...no coyotes. I'm waiting for the temp to drop some more.
