How many of you guys have an AR-Pistol?

For my pistol build, I'd like to get a suppressor. Since they aren't exactly budget friendly I'm leaning towards a .308 version. That means larger threads than are usually cut into a 556 barrel. Is anyone aware of a off the shelf barrel that uses the 5/8th threads in 556?

All it is, is a short barrel rifle that has no butstock. You put a butstock on it you have to have a special license. Correct me if I am wrong but this goes for any barrel under 16 inches I believe.

A AR pistol has a few requirements. As stated it cannot have a buttstock, also cannot have a vertical foregrip. The lower which the AR pistol is made on cannot in the past have been assembled as a rifle. Those are the big 3 rules that would make it fall under the NFA rules and need the tax stamp.

A few caveats there are ATF letters stating the Magpul angled foregrip is OK to mount on a pistol and a cheek riser is also OK to mount on the buffer tube.

Correct, I sent a letter to the ATF requesting the legality of a Magpul AFG and they replied it was legal on an AR pistol. It literally just can't be a vertical grip...doesn't make sense to me either.
