How many of you save the os penis?

Someone on another forum was relating about a Arkansas toothpick and refering to a coon apendage, in addition to the famous knife.
I was wondering if any of you save your coyote os penis.

I know people who save them from 'coons as a good luck charm, sorta like a rabbits foot. I bet the 'coon didn't feel so lucky. Some people even use them for toothpicks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

This discussion is way too gay for me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

(edit) What the he11 is an "OS" anyway? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Os relates to the bone.
It is my understanding that all mammals have an os penis except man. It is the reason that dogs get hung up after mating. The length of bone does not relax when they get turned around.
The reason I asked is that I have known trappers to take the particular bones and make tooth pics, neckleaces, and trinkets for hat pins.
I saw a guy wearing one on a bead string recently and I thought it was funny knowing what it was, and most people don't.
This has no signifcicance other than a curiosity.

LMAO! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I'm sorry, but that's way more info about dog d1x than I ever needed to know. I guess every man picks a "trophy" that suits him best, huh? And I thought I'd heard it all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif But thank you for the education, all the same. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

If I am not mistaken, a beaver also has an Ivory bone /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have also heard that a bull beef cow has a bone.

Now honestly, would you put that in your mouth? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I think all this talk about whacking off tally-whackers is giving some members the heebie-jeebies! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

That is not the case.

"The only mammal species without baculum are the humans, horses, donkeys, rhinoceros, marsupials, rabbits, cetaceans (whales and dolphins), elephants and hyenas."

I'm not sure why deer (which would include all cervids I would think, and cattle were not listed among those that don't.

Unlike tiger penises,
however, deer, horse, and cattle penises lack a baculum.

For the life of me I can not understand why anyone would be interested in this particular part of a canine.

Not only are people interested in it, they spend a lot of money on them and go to great lengths to "counterfiet" those of certain species, as seen in the link above.

Orientals have some strange practices.
