How much longer for the Volquartsen .17 WSM?

I've decided I'm going to make the jump, if the reviews are favorable. They were supposed to start shipping this Summer and I don't see an update on Volquartsen's site.
Before I drop my 2k I need to see some real reviews as far as function and accuracy. A search of the web shows nothing from anyone but Volquartsen and the press on the guns. I guess there's an issue causing a delay but I can't find out what it is.

On a related note, I haven't seen .17 WSM ammo around here for the better part of 6 months.
 
I ordered a Volquartsen .17 HMR two years ago it was a 15 month wait. Nice gun nearly MOA at 100 yards. I've only been able to try one type of ammo.

By any chance, are you thinking 17HMR?

I purchased a used Volquartsen in .22 Magnum rimfire model VG-1 several years ago. It is the most accurate .22 Mag. rimfire rifle I have ever owned. That includes an Anshutz model 54. a Cooper rifle, and many others. I have found it is accurate with several brands of ammo including RWS 40 g HP (the most accurate); Fed. 40 g FMJ; Rem 33 g VMAX (these 3 less than .65 inch at 100 yds. average of several 5 shot groups; WW 34g JHP & CCI solid point (less than .90 inch at 100 yds).
Your purchase of the 17 HMR will undoubtedly be even more accurate. I believe you will be happy with it.
