A lot depends on the caller used, the battery source, temperature, and how you run them. Doing as Supress Yourself said is the safest bet to ensure a full charge when you need it.
It’s mind blowing to me that with all of the bells and whistles that FoxPro touts as game changers for the predator hunting game, yet they can’t put a simple battery level indicator on their callers.
I think my old Fusion has some blinking or glowing light to indicate you’re about to get screwed, but that’s too late in the game to be useful in my opinion!
Well, that and while the power switch on the X24 is recessed, one time I found it had been flipped on in my pack and running overnight. I wasn't hunting the next day, so no big deal, but now I leave it disconnected until I'm heading out to hunt.Great, thanks for the replies fellas!
SupressYourself, I sort of like that idea of unplugging it while not in use, these Lithium batteries kind of scare me![]()

My Icotec Nightstalker+ with their B/P gets charged once every 3-4 weeks and I don't know if it needs charged then. I normally hunt 3-4 nights/week making 3 to 6 sets In PA winters. Don't know why, but it lasts a LOT longer than my Fury 2 or Fusion did with enneloops.
Charge after every use but take it off the charger as soon as the battery is charged. Don't just leave it hooked upCurious to know how often those that use an e-caller with rechargeable batteries charge them? Do you estimate how long you ran it or just every time out?
