How often do you charge your e caller?

Curious to know how often those that use an e-caller with rechargeable batteries charge them? Do you estimate how long you ran it or just every time out?

I don’t hunt as much as most but I charge mine once a month or about every 10-12 hours of use. I’ve changed my remote batteries once in 2 years and it still shows full bars.

A lot depends on the caller used, the battery source, temperature, and how you run them. Doing as Supress Yourself said is the safest bet to ensure a full charge when you need it.

It’s mind blowing to me that with all of the bells and whistles that FoxPro touts as game changers for the predator hunting game, yet they can’t put a simple battery level indicator on their callers.

I think my old Fusion has some blinking or glowing light to indicate you’re about to get screwed, but that’s too late in the game to be useful in my opinion!

I researched zero turns for a whole year before I decided which to buy. I ended up with a great mower. Only complaint... No fuel gauge?

Great, thanks for the replies fellas!

SupressYourself, I sort of like that idea of unplugging it while not in use, these Lithium batteries kind of scare me
Well, that and while the power switch on the X24 is recessed, one time I found it had been flipped on in my pack and running overnight. I wasn't hunting the next day, so no big deal, but now I leave it disconnected until I'm heading out to hunt.

And here we were thinking that it was because you were smart..... LoL

My Icotec Nightstalker+ with their B/P gets charged once every 3-4 weeks and I don't know if it needs charged then. I normally hunt 3-4 nights/week making 3 to 6 sets In PA winters. Don't know why, but it lasts a LOT longer than my Fury 2 or Fusion did with enneloops.

Probably a huge difference in capacity and efficiency with lithium pack vs the old NiCad or NiMH chemistry. My X2s Foxpro lasts way longer than my old Fusion running Enloops. However, even the old Fusion would get me through a long night of calling. I don’t think I would try 2 nights though.

I bought an extra battery for my X24 and swap it when I notice the volume starts to diminish or the call doesn't respond quickly.
I don't like charging the battery through the call and it's always good to have a spare battery.

I have the foxpro lithium pack. I just plug in the charger when i get done hunting, before i put up my gear. Usually its charged in 15 minutes

I like to think I'm proactive and keep it charged, but nah, seems like I usually just run the Shockwave until the battery goes kaput, finish the stand with a hand call, and swap out batteries before the next stand.

I rotate my remote rechargeable batteries generally every week(weekend) of use.
I have 2 rechargeable packs for my X24 and generally only run the high capacity one January and February and may only charge it every couple weeks.
