Ok how do you clean oxidized brass some of it is new never fired and it seems to have oxidized on the inside and outside what should I do to get it off? Just run it in my corn cob media or is there a better way?

Discoloration and not green junk is pretty much ignored. If I were concerned I'd just throw it in a tumbler that was handy. I've shot a lot of tarnished brass. Seems to make X's as well as the crow bait super shiny stuff.

Toss it in the tumbler tonight and let us know tomorrow .

If the brass has green tarnish, THROW IT AWAY. The case wall has been weakened and you will run the risk of blown and/or split cases upon firing.

Been down that road before.

Ok this is brass I just picked up its old ssa before Nosler bought it out. So I figured it would be worth the purchase. It’s not all the pieces so I’m tumbling it now and I’ll see what it looks like after is been tumbled.

Brown tarnished brass is fine, green corroded brass is not! Even if the tarnished brass doesn't shine like new, you should have no worry.

I used Iosso rifle brass cleaner for a long time. A mixture of a cap of simple green cleaner, vinegar 2-3 oz and hot water is pretty good and will remove most tarnish and most grime/lubes.

I second the Iosso for real nasty brass. Use the directions on the Iosso then rinse and dry them off, they come out etched dull, no problem, but if you want them looking like new run them through the tumbler after the Iosso.

I forget the exact directions but it takes only minutes to soak.
