HOWA 1500 buttstock pad. Hate it!

I've got a HOWA 1500 with the Hogue stock. For various reasons I don't like the soft, thick rubber butt pad that's on it.

I'd like to swap it out with a pad made of a harder, slicker type material. Nylon, plastic, other. I've searched and searched the net and can't find a ready to go replacement. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Anybody know of a place that sells replacement/aftermarket pads for these Hogue stocks? I guess if nothing else, I will try my hand at making one. I'd rather buy one already made though. Help.

Your going to have to get a grind to fit.

Let me look when I get back to Utah. I have an older butt plate from a factory rifle. If it fits my hogue stock, I'll send it to you to try. It's just collecting dust.
