HOWA HEAVY BARREL VARMINT RIFLE????

I AM LOOKING AT THE HOWA WITH THE REGULAR STOCK NOT THE FANCY TACTICAL ONE, WITH THE 20'' HEAVY BARREL IN A 223 FOR COYOTE HUNTING. I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE QUALITY AND ACCURACY OF THESE GUNS AND IF ANYONE HAS ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THEM BEFORE I BUY ONE.

I have one with a 24" barrel and its a tack driver. The hogue stock is nice too.

got a buddy with the 20in bull barrel thats a 308 and hogue stock and he really likes his.

Howa makes a good bolt gun IMO. Good, strong action. Much better than Browning for half the price.

Browning bolt guns are the absolute biggest over priced POS on the market, hands down.

They are NOT made by the same company..........

Weatherby uses Howa barrels, I believe, or at least they are produced in the same factory...

I only own 1 Vanguard/Howa right now. Have had it a LONG time. 22-250. Still drives nails. My bud that I hunt with up north on his property kind of "took it over". I ain't seen it in several years now. They are a great action for the price.......

I've owned the 1500 for several yrs. Not pretty but nothing that a little paint and a sponge could'nt take care of. Shoots better than I can all day long.

I have them in 22-250 and in 204 mine are axiom but they shoot as good or better than any I have owned with some of those being 4 times the price

I had one in 22-250. It was the first rifle, I owned, that almost shot one hole. It may be a bit heavy to haul around for yotes.
