Howm To Setup at Nite?

When traveling in to your next stand at nite, do you guys usually use your red lite for a flashlight? Also, since I primarily use an e-caller right now, during the time it takes to get the speaker out and getting set up, should i wait in silence for awhile in the dark before starting any calls? If so, for how long? Thanks.

MOst of the time I try not to use any light at all while moving to my setups. I will use the red light though if I need it.

I usually don't wait for any length of time before calling, I just try to be really quiet going in and setting up.
