HS V-Pod Shooting Sticks - Reviews?

Monopod with spring-loaded V shaped bottom legs... monopod ease of movement/low weight but with bipod stability. Included Strap keeps butt of gun next to shoulder for minimum movement.

Looks like a good idea but I only found 2 reviews in several pages of Google searches and no mention of them on here that I could find.

Any one use them?
 
got one for turkey last spring. i didn't like it attached to my barrel made it feel akward. bought some 1in tubing and use it as shootig sticks now. it's ok but not great. i never used the strap.
 
It makes sense that an attached pod isn't very practical for shotgunning; made for swinging at close range.

Could you explain the mod with the 1" tubing you made just in case I decide to give it a try.
 
black hose for like dish washers or such sold off of a spool at hardware store. ace in my case. bought 12in. cut it down to 10.
it's already curved from being on the spool. put it where the barrel is attached. it rotates however you need it to. it's not perfect but it works.
