Folks,
Here is our field review of the Night Optics 4X Argus (D-740) and 6X Gladius (D-760) Gen 3 Night Vision Riflescopes. These units were tested in three different light environments (no moon, half moon, and full moon) and with/without IR assistance from the HTRN T-20 850nm and 940nm devices. This review should answer a lot of questions about the effectiveness of these Gen 3 devices for hunting, performance under various lighting conditions, and how they perform with/without IR assistance. These are pretty much the top of the line in Gen 3 NV Riflescopes so compare their performance to our other reviews of the Gen 1 and Gen 2+ devices. You can also compare these reviews to our field reviews of the HTRN Signature Series Scopes platformed on the MX-160 or PVS-14 Gen 3 monoculars.
