Members,

We've completed a field review of the new Bering Optics Prodigy 348 thermal monocular. This is basically a Flir clone offering a 348/288 core resolution with a 1x optical zoom and a digital zoom of 2x, 3x, and 4x. It has a larger detection lens of 25mm and is fully WiFi capable. Compared with other monoculars in the under $2K class, I think you will find this unit a good value as priced currently. You can check out our field review in the following link:

You can check out our product listing here: http://www.hightechredneckincorporated.com/product-p/nvtd100.htm

PM me or post if you have any questions about this unit. Kevin

Members,

I'm bringing this post back up to let you know that (for a limited time) we will be offering an External Battery Pack (retails around $50) FREE with each purchase of the Bering Optics Prodigy 348 Thermal Monocular. This unit is basically a FLIR clone with a 348 core microbolometer. Other features include a core 1x for wide FOV viewing but can be zoomed up to 4x. The 25mm lens really helps with resolution at 1x through 4x viewing. This unit is also WiFi capable......meaning you don't have to purchase a separate miniDVR for recording as long as you have a smart phone and download the Bering Optics application. So if you are looking for a nice thermal scanner make sure you consider this one. I've played around with it some and I like it's compact size and added run time capacity with the External Battery capacity of around 15 hours. Check it out!! Kevin

Members,

Just a note to let you know that Bering Optics has upgraded their warranty on the Prodigy 348 to a full 2 years. This includes systems as well as the microbolometer! Now this is a company that will stand in front of (not behind) their products!! Kevin
