Are thermal's legal in Wyoming and North Dakota?
I finding conflicting info, seems I remember it's legal in WY. but you need to wear a strobe.
Thanks guys!

Pretty sure ND has a night season that comes in after deer season and ends in March. Thermal is allowed. I don't think an IR strobe would be of any benefit except with hunters using NV.

Yeah ND is usually the day after deer gun season, which is around the first weekend in November and goes about 3 weeks long.

This past season for thermal was open 11/25/24 thru 3/31/25.

Yeah, both states allow thermal, but with some differences. In ND, thermal is good to go once deer gun season wraps—last year it was open 11/25 to 3/31. WY is legal too, but you’re right—there's some talk about using a strobe or ID light if you're with others. Always best to double-check regs each year, they can shift a bit. Better safe than sorry.

I went to WY last year and had to buy a strobe, I'll double check, regs change so much. thx

Been piling up the prairie dogs in ND and WY for the last several days, haven't pursued the yotes yet.
