How do you guys like the hunting shows?
I like them but don't like the ranch hunts, and the ones that mainly promote the product that sponsors the show. There are some good ones that show hunting and don't do a lot of talking during the show about the product.

Absolutly 100%, there needs to be more

Primos truth about hunting, and Ted Nugents show
Are there any that are particularly bad?
Not really, but some are more advertisement than hunting and they fall on the bottom of the list.
How many also watch pro wrestling?
I watch it only because my kids do.
Who's your favorite pro wrestler?
The puppy lady, you know the one with the puppies trying to get out of her shirt.

I like The Outdoor Channel, no cussing, no nudity, just outdoor stuff. I guess Primos and Ted Nugent are the most real. Those Primos guys arn't afraid to laugh at themselves when they screw up, they have made me laugh several nights. Several of the shows have kids killing their first deer or turkey. Another show was hunting ground hogs, they had a young girl shooting hogs with her Dad. Just tonight the NRA had a new show on there and I enjoyed it. Tuesday night it has just hunting shows. Most show hunting in a positive light and I'm shure this is a good thing.

Most of the TV hunting shows are guided ranch hunts that are, well, canned hunts. I remember one show where the "hunter", who was the host, shot a mule deer in the butt and then said "I got him, what a shot." They even made a slow motion replay of "the shot" LOL! No wonder he needed a second shot "to make sure that the deer is down." Then the idiot talked about his "marksmanship". What a bonehead. Needless to say, I don't even look at it anymore. MI VHNTR
