Hunting tattoos?

I guess you could use a sharpie or two , just to see how you would like it.

Got some and regret it.

They are alot cooler when you are 23 than when you are 43.

I dont condone em, or, discourage people from getting them.

It's their bodies and I'm no one to say what they do with it.

I'll just say put ALOT of thought into a design because it's going to be on you for life and put em where society wont see em.

People do look at ya different when they are visable and you are kidding yerself if ya think otherwise.

I want the one on my forearm gone to the point of belt sanding it gone, I regret it that much.

One of the biggest mistakes of my life..

Just my two pennies worth ...

I always think it is funny when people say" It will look like crap when you are 80!" Like you will have young girls checkin you out then. Face it most everybuddies skin will look pretty bad at that age! I have a few and am probably gonna get sleeved on my left arm and my entire back done. I just need the design to be finished. How other people look at me be Damned!

i'm thinking about getting my whole body tattooed in desert shadow camo that way i could hunt in the summer w/ just shorts and shoes, it just to hot in AZ......

I think that really depends on the location of the tattoo. My wife has one on her foot that is very tasteful and doesn't stand out. Most of my friends have them, but are hidden and only shown to the closest of friends.

However, I have a young man that comes over once in a while. He has a teardrop tattoo below his eye. Not to be judgmental, but I'd never hire him on.

Exactly my point. Eyes are drawn to them.. I've seen it happen to me.

That and when you do meet a nice keepable gal and go to meet her folks.

They are magnets to judgement of you before you can speak a word.

That is prison ink and means that he killed someone if I'm not mistaken.

At least it used to. Who knows now in this wacked out world we live in now?

Maybe a in vogue thing now?

I have a 10 point tattooed between my shoulder blades and plan on getting our initials DK, futrue wife will have the same as me, on the inside of my upper left arm. When we have kids I will get there hand prints and names on my ribs.....wont be able to see them when I have a shirt on.

I have a really good friend that is a 6th grade teacher and is covered in ink, cant tell when he has a short sleeve shirt and slacks on.......if you get one get it somewhere its not going to hurt your chances getting a job in a rough time like now.

I had a guy come to an interview with several pieces of metal stuck to his face and tats on both arms and hands. I told him I'd put his sheet in the open file. When he left I opened the trashcan and filed his sheet.

Had a gal interview with me that looked like that.
Short interview.

I have the ultimate predator on my calf. Tribal Angel. predator you say? .... ever heard of Armegedon? and entire valley six feet deep with blood after the battle.

Inks these days are very different then they were years ago and the applications are different too.

It took me two years to find one that I wanted. I wanted something that meant something to me. I wanted a statement of my religious beliefs that could never be taken away from me........ I did it because it was permanent!

To each his own. I choose to be different......

At the ripe age of 17/18, when I went into the Navy, I got two tattoos. At now 63 I've spent over $2000 on lazer work to remove these and they are not gone yet. I am not saying do or don't, just think it through.

As long as a tattoo isnt distastefull or it means something there isnt anything wrong with them and shouldnt be the difference between you getting a job or not getting one. Just bc someone has a tattoo doesnt make them a bad person. The guy with a tattoo could be the best worker you have ever had just the same as the guy without one could rob you blind. If the tattoo is something like a full on sleeve, I agree that it should be covered up at work but once again should not keep your from getting the job just bc you have ink on you. My wife has two tattoos of footprints on her. One is my oldest daughters foot print when she was born and the other is my youngest daughters and if someone were to not hire her bc of them it would be a load of crap. Not hiring someone with a tattoo would be like telling a doctor you dont want him to do an operation on you just because hes inked. I guess everyone has there own opinion but to me it would be the same as not hiring someone bc of their race or religion. I also have a tattoo and plan on getting atleast one more. Josh
