Well I stumbled on to a photography contest on facebook where the winner would win a RELLY nice custom leather holster from Savoy Leather,
They have some true works of art!!

The guys at Four Guys Guns saw some of the work Savoy Leather put out and fell in love. Then, to help promote their goods, they decided to hold this contest to give away one of their holster!
The entries should display their handguns they would wrap in the custom leather should they win.
So I set up this picture to send in.

Well any way, yesteday I found out that my photo was selected as one of the top 10 finalist and the winner would be chosen by votes from the public on the Four Guys Guns web site.
So I started begging for votes and wasn't doing to bad. I stayed with in reach of first.
But then everything went hay wire with the voting I think, but everything was shut down!

Well it is going again and everybody starts fresh at ZERO!
The only thing is now you must vote on facebook!
I know there are some of you who don't have facebook and I understand.

But if you do and can help I need it!

Well guys I made a respectable run and did better then I expected. But my opponent was better this time!
I got more support then I would have ever imagined and for that I thank you!

The support, in my opinion, is more treasured to me than the holster would have been!

Thanks again guys!

I'm thinking you might want to contact the manufacturer with it. And consider working with other brands as well.

Good idea but they wouldn't even support it in any way. I had asked them in a message if they would post it on their facebook page. I even mentioned that not only was it the only M&P but it was the only S&W.
And they said.....
...nothing!

Not even a response.

Doesn't mean they wouldn't be interested though!
I guess I just need to keep stacking a photos that people like and that draw attention, then maybe I can get that opportunity.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Dunno if I can help or not, but I'll see if I can.

Any other brands you could work with? Meaning, do you have the hardware to work with?

I see a creative spark here, a talent that I don't think should be lost in the noise.

Oh wow! You are too kind!
Thank you sir! That means a lot!

Well what are you referring to when you say hardware?
Guns?
By most standards I am gun poor!
I only have a few handguns AND they are ALL S&W!

I would not be opposed to other manufactures sending me their inventory to photo for them though!

** Update **

Hey everybody check this out.
Y'all remember me begging for votes on my photo in this contest for the free custom holster. Well with everybody's help, including all of the folks over at Girls of Fire facebook page, I gave it a great run but the competition was better!
However, the people at Estes Leather Works (http://estesleatherworks.com) got involved through the Girls of Fire facebook page. They liked me and the photo and thought it deserved a holster any way.
So after a few emails to work out the details I received this work of art!

EstesLeatherHolster.jpg

It is the Estes Leather Snap Cake holster. It is similar to a pancake holster but with the snaps it is possible to remove the holster if it is necessary to disarm with out removing your belt.
The quality and craftsmanship are quite extraordinary! They make some great looking holsters!!
But I think what I like the best about it is it is made right here in TEXAS!
They are also working on a new IWB for a bit more deep concealment!
I am sure they will be top of the line as well!

I am blown away by the generosity of Estes Leather.
Even though I came in second, they made me a winner anyway!

I could not recomend them enough!
Good folks and great products!

Thanks for the support guys!
