I have a question, regarding the Silencerco ASR mount

I just picked up my Omega a week or so ago and I have been out shooting it on my AR and my Tikka 243, LOVE IT!! My question is this, in switching it from one gun to another I loosen the ring as directed and try to unscrew the can. Sometimes it comes off, sometimes I can't get it loose and then the can comes loose from the ASR mounting attachment. I figure it's heat and maybe a bit of carbon build up. Are there any tricks to this?

That happened with mine when I first got it. I think the carbon build up helps keep the asr mount attached. I learned that anytime I shoot with my can, I need leather gloves and my tools in case things like this happen. Don't be too concerned.
 
I had similar issues with my Omega. I started to put a small(!) amount of anti-seize on the ASR threads and the issue has gone away. The bummer is that anti-seize gets on everything if you're not careful, or if you use too much.
