I need a Bobcat taxidermist!

I have a trophy bobcat that I killed last year, that has been in freezer awaiting to be mounted. I want to do a life size mount of this cat.

The problem I am running in to, is finding a taxidermist that actually knows how to do quality work on a bobcat. Bobcats can be very difficult to mount. If you look at the face of a cat, you can easily see when a taxidermist knows how to mount a cat, and when he does NOT know how to mount a cat. Ive kept the cat in my freezer this long, because I did not want to just send a cat to any taxidermist, and have it coming back looking like crap.

Bar none, the best cat taxidermist Ive personally ever seen is Wildlife Artist studios. However, they wont take any more work at this time. I wish so bad they would, because from all Ive seen, their work is un-paralleled.

If you know of someone who does high quality cat mounts, please let me know.

Ive pasted a link to their website, to give you an idea of life-like look of their mounts.

Thanks

Look into Werners in Henderson Nevada! They have been around for many years, and have done 90% of the Bass Proshops mounts. They've done nearly 100 mounts for me. Regards, Drop

Great guy, honest, hard working and timely delivery, simply fantastic work. And you're right about getting someone who knows about cats. It's an interesting and sometimes awkward situation when a guy proudly starts a new thread, "Got my cat back!" Far too often it's really bad work and the mount doesn't represent the trophy (or the species!) in a complimentary way at all. Get a quality taxidermist that can really do a cat mount and you'll have something to be proud of.

I'd like to see some, especially when you get that ringtail cat back;)

Yep you can really gage a taxidermist's ability by how they do the face of a cat, I've seen some pretty messed up coyote faces too.. a lot of it is how well they do the eyes.

I have been toying with the idea of getting a full body mount of a coyote with severe mange. I came across this pic and thought it was very unique;

The problem is not only finding a good taxidermist but a good taxidermist that would be willing to do it

Yes, Ive seen many coyotes that were screwed up too! For some reason, they just cant get the eyes/face to look natural. Its obviously tough to do, or there wouldnt be so many screwed up cat/coyote mounts.
