If money was not a concern, which rifle would you choose?

Pussycat in a gasmask was taken, so I had to settle for this one. Sorry if it scares you.

That's not me, by the way. Relax.

I never thought it was. I never pictured you as a movie star from the first day you posted here... Not even as John Goodman. Besides, I'm sure you see yourself as being much scarier in real life, huh..?

Maybe Google skunk, pussycat, and porcupine so you can keep 'em all separated in your mind...

Wish I had some "spare" Iowa plates, I'd go cruise through Lawrence just for kicks!

I can just imagine the groans and dead silence in all the bars up there.
Beer sales will be through the roof...

There's no doubt about that, but I'd rather be in the winning atmosphere than the losing one...the latter can get ugly.

To be real honest, I don't have a dog in the fight. I'm not much of a college sports guy and I'd just about rather watch a flea eat a bale of hay than watch another college basketball game!

But, my boy's a KU fan, so I watched it with him. ALL of the ranchers and farmers I hunt on are dyed in the wool K-State fans, so when the boy comes with me, the KU gear stays in the truck...no kidding.

Once you get west of Topeka...it's Wildcat country.

Now for my real answer: Money's no object and it has to be a mass produced rifle. No problem there. Pre-64 Win Mod 70 Westerner .264 Win Mag.

No one said it had to be a Rem or a Tomato stake rifle.
Also, no one said it had to be new,[I don't think].

I always wanted an original Westerner.

Makes a hellavu noise, and packs a hellavu wallop!

Closest I ever got to this dream was...you guessed it...Remington 700 Limited Edition .264 Win Mag.

A guy I work with at the auto show in Detroit every Dec/Jan has a beautiful 264 Westerner. He also has a nice 220 Swifter......
